Club Penguin Island Closed Beta Q&A

Since the closed beta of Club Penguin Island is almost finished, Megg has answered some questions concerning the process. Not only that, she also addressed about bullying.

Hi, penguins!

Our North American closed beta is almost done! Thanks for all the help! A few penguins had some questions about the process, so here they are! (Along, of course, with answers.)

Q: How were the closed beta test users chosen?
A: First of all, we LOVED seeing the excitement from our whole community. Since this first stage of testing required a limited number of penguins, we sent out invites to some of the most active players in North America, plus a few others who expressed interest on the blog. The team is working so hard to get the app out there so everyone can join in!

Q: Why do the closed beta testers get to keep their progress?
A: We wanted a way to acknowledge the time testers spent playing and reviewing the app, so we felt letting them keep that progress was a perfect way to say thanks! There will always be different levels of penguins on Club Penguin Island because it’s is a place where all penguins can join the community at any time and progress at their own pace.

Lastly, we’d like to address everyone about bullying. Club Penguin prides itself on being a safe place for penguins to chat and hang out with friends. The team asks you to always be respectful and treat other penguins with kindness. It’s what we do around here and it’s how our community stays so strong.

Thank you for being an important part of this community. Your opinions are always valued and we want you to let us know how to make Club Penguin and Club Penguin Island better for everyone.

Waddle on,

-Club Penguin Team?
